When the captain of a passenger jet asks for everyone’s attention and flight attendants instruct what to do in an emergency, is it wasted effort since many are frequent flyers and think they already know what to do if disaster strikes?
Most would agree even if only some pay attention, it’s worth it! When teaching, keep it simple and repeat, repeat, repeat! This goes for advertising, marketing, training and most instructional efforts.
One of my loyal opposition complains my articles run together and sound too much alike, boring even. He describes my calls to alarm as lots of bombastic bromides for which he has little time to write a response. Says he’s so unaware of things I harp on he thinks we must inhabit different worlds . . . Indeed, if he’s really so blind to everything I say, he must be off the planet!
Whether passenger plane, ocean going ship, hurricane or crumbling republic the danger is real, calamity nigh and need for a blaring/ repeating alarm urgent, however boring it might be, to wit:
Our democratic constitutional republic runs on the premise all constitutional constraints are followed, laws obeyed, ethical and moral boundaries adhered to/respected. This is for all levels of federal, state, county, municipal government. It applies to judiciary, executive branch, legislatures and all administrative agencies.
Also institutional areas like education, business, finance, communication, entertainment and virtually all cultural aspects in the daily workings of the republic. Briefly, society runs on cooperation, facts and truth, not lies or avoidances of the law.
The edifice of constitutional republicanism rests on the open avowed allegiance/loyalty of the People who respect if not revere the principles/tenets upon which America was founded. These include the inalienable right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness as well as the Bill of Rights and all amendments. So what’s the problem?
One of the two major political parties states its mission includes “democratic socialism”, “identity politics”, “globalism”, “social equity” and other progressive ideals intended to divide the citizenry {electorate} into factions vying for power and supremacy.
This Party’s candidates openly promote these notions/ideas. Many are already elected and serving to represent their congressional/senatorial district, meaning they represent majorities in those districts of from 30-40K, and for senators up to several millions, depending on the state. Not only are these ideas unconstitutional, some are downright seditious/insurrectional: packing the Supreme Court or eliminating it; eliminating the senate and electoral college; letting noncitizens vote!
In a healthy republic a vast majority of the People agree on what their country is about, what it stands for, with ongoing debate about priorities, role of government, welfarism, social policies, taxation and so on. One can be left or right and still comfortable in the main with existing governmental policy/programs. We all occasionally vent, i.e. if only they would do this -OR- pay attention to that!
I believe we’ve become an unhealthy republic in that a major Party has forgotten our founding principles/mission: to protect the rights of the individual, particularly God-given/natural rights which must not be subject to whimsy or impulses of men and their despot governments!
Adherents believe man is at all times subject to such whims and must remain poised to bend/forfeit his personal rights and privileges to meet the needs of a differing political ideology, manifested by a momentary majority, actual or fabricated.
This “majority” in no way represents the will of the People and by its usurpation violates many if not all the basic tenets and mandates in the Constitution. We’ve been in the throes of this rogue predicament since the ascendancy of Barack Obama; first Trump administration hounded/persecuted from Day1 by rogue elements; Biden insurrection, facilitated by a rigged election across many states; Clinton phenomenon wherein a deeply suspect, undeserving candidate along with his ambitious unscrupulous wife were swept into office, power, oligarchic control; Bush II, a conservative debacle owing to the legacy of Bush I, which like a glacier’s moraine was an accumulation of decades of incumbency and apparent conservativism, but really – RINO!
The Democrat Party has been over-run and commandeered by an extreme left element that is anti-American. The rank and file – right and left – think this business as usual, a trend that will reverse in due time – not! America is at a cross-roads and must take the road leading to restoration or go hard left, dismantling/ deconstructing our republic into a socialist oligarchy. Signs/actions are everywhere proving what they’re about. Rank and file aren’t alarmed. They believe the democrat’s credo, trusting their leaders to secure a moral high ground. To them it’s the rhetoric of change, the campaign bluster used to attack Trump and his supporters. They see no ulterior motive/clandestine purpose, to their dire fault and utter shame! A tragedy in the making!
A congressperson represents 100,000 voters, a senator half a state: if 25 congresspersons have about 30-40K supporters, depending on voter turnout, that’s a million supporters; if five(5) senators have 1.5Mil supporters depending on voter turnout, they hold about 8Mil constituents. This means there are men and women who are openly socialist, globalist, communist, Islamist, racist or Zionist in government and roughly 10Mil Americans support them!
Think about it. If this same trend/tendency is happening in state houses will it slow or hasten this incremental process whereby America’s electorate steadily gets undermined? What if these few individuals become entrenched and begin assuming leadership roles? What about all the people working for them? Remember the rank & file? How many are apathetic/ambivalent and vote BLUE without thinking? They’re the vital fuel powering this insurrectional engine! Ask any one of them if they realize they just voted in a radical anti-American leftist. They’ll say you’re nuts!
Elected politicians and government workers take an oath swearing to protect/defend the constitution of the United States. Persons of opposing political ideologies who by act, word or deed undermine/violate the constitution are treasonous in intent; traitorous in act and deed. So you see, the threat is real! Wake up, Mr. Apathetic. Smell these bromides!
There’s one more sure-fire example of how these deep-staters have worked their will, achieving success to such unimaginably immense proportions: the 1/6/21 insurrection.
Fake news told us it was a Trump-driven riot and insurrection, a deliberate attempt to over throw government. With foaming-at-mouth zeal Democrat leaders likened it to the treachery of Pearl Harbor and bloody angst of the burning of Washington by the Brits in War of 1812. They screamed Trump was a renegade, the People’s enemy, and must be stopped!
Just one problem: it wasn’t his insurrection, it was theirs! A false flag attempt to strip him of office once and for all. Examine his speech that morning and find no incitement to riot but simply an appraisal of what had happened to the election. He had information from the military proving it was rigged and stolen. He was reassuring several thousand peaceful supporters he knew what had happened but justice would have to wait.
The peaceful crowd was dispersing, but a few rabble-rousers, agitators, provocateurs infiltrated their ranks and fomented outrage. They were not Trump’s people! They were various government agents acting at the behest of Democrat leadership, stirring things up to resemble a rebellion/seditious riot. Trump’s closing words had been to peacefully return home and remain calm, reassuring them how justice would be done!
There are stacks of evidence supporting this, proof the agitators in the crowd were government agents who did their best to spur the assemblage into marching on the capital. It’s well known capital police were passive and accommodating, opening doors and showing the way.
Hundreds of peaceful, innocent marchers were arrested and jailed with little or no due process and languished for years awaiting their day in court. Meanwhile, leaders behind the false flag including Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Brennan, Merrick Garland, James Comey and the Jan 6th committee of Adam Schiff, Liz Cheney, Jamie Raskin, Elaine Luria, Pete Aguilar and Bernie Thompson began their impeachment gambit, believing they could slam dunk Trump into oblivion!
Again, the swamp they created is immense, seeping into every nook and cranny, soiling the good works and offices of the congress, senate, Justice, FBI, the courts and entire administrative state. It invaded media, fake news, academia, intelligentsia, entertainment, sports and business; a miasma of stink and corruption of unearthly proportion blocking every avenue and access for seeking truth and receiving justice! Getting heads around this 1-day event is hard, I know. Think how to get round the past 26yrs of nonstop 24-7 propaganda/indoctrination! Now try grasping how everything we learned during our entire life and our parent’s lives has been a leftist charade . . . yeah, there I go with my rightwing conspiracies again, right? OK, tell me how Hillary got away with all her crap; how dumb-ass Biden got elected; how knees-up Kamala almost became president; how a male admiral can wear a dress; how government/military employees had to take a shot or quit; how we could not visit dying loved ones in hospital; how kids couldn’t go to school; how we were barred from assembly/congregating; how billions and billions of dollars got embezzled the past 20yrs, defrauding government and us of our money; how millions of dead people still pop up on social security rolls, getting paid and casting votes; how an alien from Kenya became our Manchurian candidate?
We are in Theatre of the Absurd, an upside down world where nothing is as it seems. It’s been like this for over 100yrs. Why can’t we demand Voter ID? Why did we allow open borders for so long? Why can federal judges over-ride a President? How can governors, mayors, county supervisors and others defy federal government with sanctuary zones? How can local police be ordered to stand down while their city/town is burning? Why are entire cities overrun by immigrants who turn these into ghettos/enclaves of foreign influence, electing their own to local/national office while not respecting/obeying the constitution?
We can no longer trust the government, the media or the schools. We cannot believe what they say on TV, or what they show as riots or war zones. These are my thoughts in the waning days of October 2026. Mid-Term elections are in about 10days. Will they be fair or rigged? Will republicans win control of the House and Senate, or lose control? If the latter and most of what I’ve described herein is true, how can Trump effect any significant change? Are we poised for a military coup?
Is America still a center-right constitutional republic, or are we becoming a left-leaning monstrosity feigning equality and equity but delivering bondage, subservience, tyranny? The next 10days may tell the tale . . .
